Résumé
Japandroids, it’s the band you wish you’d started at 20, but  unlike most teen-pop bands, you waited to be done with university, just in case. Brian King and David Prowse (29) both graduated in Science and Anthropology at University of Victoria (Canada) before fully commiting to rock in 2006. Originally from Vancouver, the Drum/guitar duo revives the 90′s-fuzzy sound with a lyrical teen edge to it. Their debut-album, Post-Nothing, released mid-2009, covers the top-3 rock’n’roll themes that the genre has forever offered us: girls, the city and friends. The only difference between Japandroids and a teenage band is that Japandroids will certainly still be alive next year to tell the tale.
